& that's exactly what canadian rap star Drake is doing . drake who is signed to weezy's young money and has been featured on various songs with trey songz and the dream to name a few is killing the rap game . he has been featured on various mixtapes and various songs and will release his highly anticipated studio album " thank me later " . about a week or so ago , drake released a video to his song " over " and i must say that i am pretty impressed with the video . i haven't been that happy with recent drake videos because it seemed that he was camera shy and the video concepts were interesting . not to say that the " over " video had a much more interesting concept , but it was something about the video that captured me more so than the other videos . for those who haven't seen the video , here's a link to check it out :
along with this video , a song called " fall for your type " has been getting a lot of play on radio . i definitely love the song , but i'm sad that it's only about 1 minute & 50 seconds . below is a link to check it out as well :
and his most recent song off the album called " shut it down " features vocals from the dream . for the most part i love a good amount of drake's songs because i feel them . it's almost as if certain lines of the song fit me * giggles * . so here's another link to check out " shut it down " :
i have to admit that my favorite line out of the song is : " put those fu*kin' heels on & work it girl , let that mirror show you what you're doing . put that fu*kin' dress on & work it kinda vicious like somebody's takin' pictures " & then he goes into the chorus . i swear that line was written with a lady like me in mind ! * giggles * anywho , look out for drake as he continues to make things hot in the rap game & look for the highly anticipated thank me later which is supposed to drop on june 15th . happy listening !
