over the last year , i've become fascinated with the italian language . thanks to one of my high school friends , whose tattoo reads " amore vole fe " & her understanding of the saying to mean " love cannot exist without trust " , i became intrigued by the italian language . my curiosity led me to actually looking into the saying & i figured that for the tattoo to only have those three little words , her translation had to be off a little . after researching the saying , i found that the actual translation was " love needs faith " . since this is something i TRULY do believe , i took it & ran with it * smiles * . i take the saying very seriously & take it to heart . with that fascination being held so closely to me , i wanted to use the italian language on another part of my blog & will do so in my URL . my love of fashion has led me to the new URL " ModaEsigenzeFede " , which means " fashion needs faith " . i believe in fashion & belief that with faith , it can DEFINITELY go a long way .

bathing suit season .

although we are at the end of february & soon to be the beginning of march , that time of year is quickly approaching . before you know it , it'll be time to put away the coats & snow boots for shorts & flip flops & almost every woman's nightmare : bathing suit season . men have it easy : swim trunks & MAYBE a tank top . the only difficulty they have is deciding on getting a new pair of trunks OR sticking to the ones they've worn in previous years . [ i highly doubt that men become picky when it comes to bathing suits .. maybe color & trunks or speedo , DONE ! ] women on the other hand have A LOT more to think about & choose from before they decide on what they hope is the perfect bathing suit . style : monokini , bikini , tankini , one piece , two piece , color , pattern & this season's trend are the words women use when deciding on a swimsuit , let alone how she will look in one . although a lot of people buy what they like , there are bathing suits that are designed to fit certain body types better than others & compliment most better than others . the different choices of swimsuits provide women with a greater choice of mixing & matching some pieces to put together the " perfect " bathing suit . so look early , look around & INVEST in a great suit . chances are you'll have it for more than one year . & one word of advice : you can NEVER go wrong with a black swimsuit ; happy shopping !

Thoughts of a Predicate Fashionista .

My first posting , wow . Never thought I'd be blogging , but I am ! The other week , I attended an information setting with some friends about online profiles & what it means to " brand yourself ". Along with social networking sites such as myspace , twitter , facebook & many others , blogging was a sure way of branding . I thought to myself . . I could do that , so why not ?!
